PORTFOLIO INSTRUCTIONS and MODEL DRAWING STUDIO CLASSES

We offer private consultation with Kiril or group model drawing studio time limited to 5-8 students at a time.

Private Portfolio Classes

We create custom drawing programs depending on the student skills and goals. The private drawing classes are perfect for students, who are looking to improve their drawing skills or finalize their portfolio. We offer consultation in multiple art areas: Fine Art, Fashion Drawing, Animation, Collage, etc. See sample demonstration instructions from Kiril here.

  • How to sign up? Please email us at khristovacademy@yahoo.com a week in advance to discuss the program and customize the class instructions. If needed, we will set up a brief phone call before the first class to align on the class structure. The classes are offered Friday night from 6pm to 9pm or Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 9pm depending on the available time slots.
  • What is the cost of the class? Private lesson is $40 an hour and is paid before the class starts in-person. Classes are located at Kirl Art Studio at 115 Potrero Ave.
  • What to bring? Sample work, art supplies, easel

Group Studio Classes

Class Terms:

  • Class size limited to 8 people
  • Class time is 3 hours and involves no instruction, but a professional model is provided. The classes are figure or costume model drawing studio time.
  • Class setup includes drawing horses, free tea or coffee and a professional setting
  • Students must bring own supplies and easels and behave in a respectful manner

Time slots:

  • Friday evenings from 6:30-9:30
  • Saturdays from 3-6pm
  • Sunday 2-4pm

Semester Timing:

  • Spring semester begins Jan. 23 and ends April 07 (12 weeks)
  • Summer semester begins: dates to be determined
  • Winter semester: dates to be determined

Pricing and Attendance:

  • Students sign up for a 12 week studio sessions for a price of $360. The pricing includes one visit per week. If you require more frequent visits please contact us.
  • Full payment is required by second session
  • Absent days can be made up by attending another session depending on avails
  • Students must notify instructor of absence, so others can be admitted
  • Drop ins may be allowed at Kiril’s discretion. Drop-in price: $40

Each session ends with a short exhibition of student work curated by 
Kiril Hristov at 151 Potrero Ave with a studio opening gathering.
